Dear Rob and all marina staff,
We would like to thank you all for two and a half years of wonderful mooring at aqueduct marina. We have watched it change from a muddy farm field to a beautiful country marina with every facility one could wish for. Everyone was so kind and helpful form the office staff to the girls in the galley and the workshop and ground staff – we will never forget our time with you.

Special thanks must go to Chris, who walked us through the building of Amadeus II and all the little attention and adjustments that followed on launch. We formed a real friends with Chris which we hope will continue.

We are adjusting to life without canals and it is hard, especially on a warm sunny day like today, to realise that after 20 years of boating we no longer have a boat! We hope you will go on from strength to strength and promise we will see you again before too long.

We would like to express our thanks to you and your team for the very professional way your marina services are delivered to customers. During the 6 weeks we were at Aqueduct we were readily offered information, help & advice with a smile and genuine concern that our needs were met.

It is unfortunately unusual these days that customer service is a priority for a business, but our impression is that Aqueduct Marina rates it high on the list. We shall not hesitate to recommend you to fellow boaters wanting a high quality service.

All the management and staff at Aqueduct Marina have worked hard to create a friendly and helpful team,with lots of social events, resulting in a very welcoming atmosphere.

The Marina is a great place to be even if its just to be on your boat and perhaps spend the night on board. The knowledge you can pick up from experienced boaters while on your boat is freely given over a glass of wine or a beer. We have been very impressed with the standards throughout and are sure that this will be maintained.

We can see ourselves on this Marina for many years to come.

First Class Service & People. We sailed 86 miles on the inland waterways to have our boat painted here. That speaks volumes for our rationale in travelling so far, to have the boat treated prior to the following winter. Upon first entering the marina, you can sense an air of professionalism and cordiality from not only the owners, but also the staff! We would not hesitate to recommend this location for servicing your boat or mooring. The location is ideally placed for venturing around the Four Counties ring on the canal system.

Finally got round to dropping you an email just to say a massive thank you for the invite to the anniversary party – you all worked really hard to make it a really enjoyable day. It is a great marina and the marina team are second to none. Keep up the great work and once again many thanks for a great day.

We had occasion to use the facilities of Aqueduct Marina & brokerage last year (2010) when ‘mid-cruise’ we decided to change boats! We found the Marina immaculate and very well maintained and it was a pleasure to stay there. All of the staff were extremely helpful and welcoming, and the efficiency of both our purchase and subsequent sale of our previous boat was ‘hassle-free’. The restaurant also serves excellent meals!

It is with great pleasure that I write you a letter of commendation regarding the professional way in which you and the rest of the staff conducted themselves when I arranged for the sale of my narrowboat, Adele, last September.

From our first visit to your marina we were treated with courtesy and consideration at all times. I was impressed at the speed and presentation of my boat on the website and subsequent advertising thereafter in the national boating magazines.

This culminated in the boat being sold not only once, but twice within six weeks. The first sale fell through due to no fault of your organisation but within a week it was successfully sold for the second time.

I have nothing but admiration for you and your Company and have no hesitation in recommending the Company to anyone who wishes to sell a narrowboat.

As new boaters, we have been delighted by the quality of work, advice and support offered by Chris and the crew at Aqueduct Marina. Although this is a relatively new marina, the staff have a wealth of experience and are always happy to share their knowledge, saying when jobs can be done by novices, like us, and explaining (in the simplest terms) how to do it. The work done for us has been to the highest standards.

It is comforting to know that such a group of competent professionals are available to us. They have helped us make the move from towpath pedestrians to boaters as painless as possible.

As a couple with totally contrasting levels of boating – one lapsed but relatively experienced boater who had regained his appetite and one relative novice – the decision was so much easier doe to the positive advice & support of the staff at Aqueduct.

We found the energy and friendliness exceptional – from young James’ enthusiasm to Chris’ all-round knowledge – and nothing was too much trouble. We even received photographs of Lyla B’s trabnsition to the hard standing for a hull inspection and a detailed working knowledge of her finer workings. Indeed all the staff have displayed the same friendly and supportive nature, helping out whenever needed. Add to this the Galley restaurant and you have the final piece of an excellent jigsaw. We love it!
